1) Conversation between a Captain and a Lieutenant
LT : Good morning, Captain.
Cpt : Good morning, Lieutenant. How are you ?
Lt : I'm fine, sir. Thank you.

Cpt : Just a minute what time is it ?
LT : It's eight o'clock, sir.
Cpt : Are you in the lab this period ?

LT : Yes, sir.
Cpt : Is your roommate there, too ?
LT : Yes, sir. He is.
Cpt : Ask him to report to me.

LT : Yes, sir.
Cpt : Good - bye - Lieutenant.
LT : Good - bye - sir.

2) Asking direction.
A : Excuse me, Do you know where Building 7530 is ?

B : No, I don't. Say ...... isn't that the language school ?
A : Yes. The Administration Building.
B : It's two blocks, straight ahead.

A : To the right or to the left ?
B : Don't go to the right. It's on the left.
A : Thanks. Good bye.

3) Conversation about cold.
A : Do you have an aspirin ?
B : Sure, why ? Do you have a headache ?

A : Yes, I have a bad headache. I'm catching cold, too.
B : Do you have fever ?
A : I don't know. My face feels warm.
B : I'm going to take your temperature. Here's a thermometer. Put it in your mouth.

A : For how long ?
B : Just a few minutes. I'll check the time.
A : All right, thank you.
