3) Active : The hunter killed three tigers...

Passive : Three tigers were killed by the hunter.
4) Active : He gives me a book.
Passive : A book is given to me by him.
5) Active : My father punished me.

Passive : I was punished by my father.
หมายเหตุ จากตัวอย่างข้อ 4) นี\มี object อยู่ 2 ตัว คือ a book = กรรมตรง (Direct object) และ me =
กรรมรอง (Indirect object) ฉะนั\นในการเปลี1ยนเป็นรูป Passive Voice นั\น เราจะเอา Object ตัวไหนมา

ไว้เป็นประธานในประโยค Passive ก็ได้ (ฉะนั\น เราอาจใช้เป็น : I am given a book by him. ก็ได้) แต่
ส่วนมากเรานิยมหยิบ กรรมตรง มาเป็นประธานของประโยค Passive.

7.2 ถ้ารูปประโยค Active Voice มีลักษณะ Tense เป็ น Continuous Tense เมืjอจะ

เปลีjยนเป็ น Passive Voice ให้ทําดังนีr
7.2.1 หยิบเอา Object (กรรม) จากประโยค Active มาเขียนเป็น Subject (ประธาน) ไว้
ในประโยค Passive
7.2.2 หยิบเอากริยาแท้จากประโยค Active มาเขียนเป็นรูป V (กริยาช่อง 3) (Past

Participle)ไว้ในประโยค Passive.
7.2.3 ใส่คําว่า “being” ไว้หน้า V (กริยาช่อง 3) เสมอ

7.2.4 เลือกเอา is, am, are, was หรือ were ตัวหนึ1งตัวใดใส่ไว้หน้า being แต่การที1เรา

จะเลือกตัวใดเราต้องพิจารณาให้เหมาะสมกับประธานตัวใหม่ และมีลักษณะ Tense คงตาม ประโยคเดิม
ด้วย
7.2.5 ถ้าประธานของประโยคเดิมเป็น I ต้องเปลี1ยนเป็น by me แล้วใส่หลัง V ในประโยค

Example.
1) Active : He is writing a letter.
Passive : A letter is being written by him.

2) Active : I am eating three apples.
Passive : Three apples are being eaten by me.
3) Active : They were cutting down that mango-tree.

Passive : That mango-tree was being cut down by them.
4) Active : Mr. John was ringing the bell an hour ago.
Passive : The bell was being rung by Mr. John an hour ago.
5) Active : She is drawing six beautiful pictures.

Passive : Six beautiful pictures are being drawn by her.

7.3 ถ้ารูปประโยค Active Voice มีลักษณะ Tense เป็ น Perfect Tense เมืjอจะเปลีjยนเป็ น
